When can I reach you?

You can call us from Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm: 0049.241. 51 57 58-0. The shop, which can be found in Neupforte 2d, 52062 Aachen, is open from Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

How to order components?

The best way to place an order is to use our online shopping cart system. This way, no errors can occur in your order itself, your address, chosen sizes, colours and numbers; as a consequence, open questions, which would have to be dealt with via e-mail or fax, can be avoided. By this method we can provide that your order will be delivered without any delay and as soon as possible. Of course you can order via telephone call, fax or e-mail as well.

How to place an order online?

  1. Choose whether you want to create an actual account or whether you want to order as a visitor. Create an account on our website by using the link "Login".

  2. After you have affirmed your personal data, select the articles and put them into your shopping cart.

  3. When having placed all the desired components, click the button "shopping cart" and check the correctness and completeness of the articles in there.

  4. If everything is correct, click "checkout". Here you can chose the way of delivery as well as payment and insert an alternative shipping address.

  5. To confirm your order definitely, you have to accept our Terms and Conditions (AGB´s). Please mind the right of rescission.

  6. Press "continue" to send your order. You now receive an automatically generated e-mail. The following e-mail, which normally will be sent during the next day, contains an afresh list of your articles, which have been entered into our system by then, together with the data of our bank account. Articles in stock are shipped immediatlely - or rather after the receipt of payment when you chose payment in advance. In some cases though, a delay cannot be avoided, about which we inform you immediately.

How long does the shipping take?

Articles in stock are shipped immediatlely - or rather after the receipt of payment when you chose payment in advance. But not all of the listed articles are in stock, so some of them have to be ordered on your demand. This is why delays can happen, about which we would inform you immediately. The shipping for complete bikes is due to the individual manufacturing and manual construction, 3 to 6 weeks.

Why can't I find your bank data?

We have decided on not putting our data online so that we have the opportunity to check your order first. The data and the correct reason of transfer "xb...x" are included in the second e-mail after you have placed your order.

Do I have to pay additional taxes for deliveries outside of the EU?

When we deliver articles to countries not belonging to the EU, you have to pay additional taxes. Look here for further information.

What happens if I paid in advance but some of the articles aren´t deliverable?

If an article may not be deliverable, we will certainly retransfer your money. For this, write an e-mail with your bank data to info@bike-components.de.

How to handle reclamations and defect articles?

If an article is defect, send it to us at your own expense together with a copy of the bill and a short description of the problem: BIKE-COMPONENTS.DE, Eilendorfer Straße 215, 52078 Aachen. Mark the package with the inscription "Reklamation" so that it can be transferred directly to the correct division. For further information read "Reclamation/ Exchange".

In which languages can the contract be signed?

The contract will be signed in German.

Can I have another look at my orders at a later date?

We save the wording of the contract and send you the data of your order and our general terms and conditions in an e-mail. Here you can always read our current general terms and conditions. You can have a look at your bygone orders in our login-area for clients.

Can I modify my order in retrospect?

This will not be a problem in case that your order has not been shipped yet. If you would like supplemental parts, place a new, regular order in our online store and note in the field for your remarks that we should add them to your current order - please indicate the number of your current order as well. You can of course use this service when calling us. If you would like some articles to be interchanged or canceled, make use of our telephone support.

How to order complete bikes?

We have an exclusive brand called VORTRIEB. Each bike is manufactured individually and manually. For a first overview, try our configurator on www.vortrieb.com. You can choose out of different frames of the brand VORTRIEB, which stand out of the crowd because of their various geometrical forms, materials, butted tubes and colours. Needless to say, if it is your wish, we manufacture other high-tech frames by Liteville, Nicolai and customised Rewel titanium frames as well. By this, we have the opportunity to build a great number of high-tech bikes for each of your ranges of use. Nevertheless, we insist on an individual consultation; simply because there are endless ways to create a complete bike. I live in or near Aachen. May I pick up my order in your shop?

Of course you can pick up your online-made order in our shop. Just chose "Self Pickup" as method of delivery. As soon as your order is complete, you receive an e-mail. This prodcedure will keep the waiting time in the store itself as low as possible, because the order can be handled entirely. The needed time to insert your client data into the computer, to scan and control the articles will be reduced to a minimum.
