BIKE-COMPONENTS.DE – The new store

After three months of remodeling BIKE-COMPONENTS.DE re-opened its store in the city of Aix-la-Chapelle on March 3, 2010 with a completely new concept. The store design is inspired by the Apple Stores in the United States. The result: a bike store like no other. A place where you can see bikes and bike parts you normally don't get to see. There are 20 display boxes and in every single one of them we present a different high-end bike featuring brands like Nicolai, Liteville, Principia, Scott and Vortrieb. Some of the parts in the display cases have been produced in only very small quantities and were given to BIKE-COMPONENTS.DE by a few manufacturers.

What’s more than the new design, an elaborate personal consulting service takes center stage in the new store. Our goal is building bikes that fit the customer perfectly and are affordable as well. Therefore, we set up individual “consultancy boxes” - espresso bar included. Only this environment puts us in a position where we can satisfy our customers’ needs and our own ambition to keep our high standard of quality. Mass-production - that's not our thing! Nothing is left to chance when we build your bike. By using a special measuring method we determine the perfect frame size for all of our customers who want a complete bike.

Even customers who don't want to deal with the purchase of an entire bike can be sure to find the best quality. In the store on Neupforte (Street) apart from individual bike setups we also offer our exclusive customized private label VORTRIEB Special Edition - bikes made from award winning parts at an unbeatable low price.

Our private label VORTRIEB, which also got a mini makeover, a redesigned logo, just for the store reopening is currently getting a brand new website, providing you with bikes for all terrains and purposes, no matter if you want a mountain, racing, or trekking bike.

However we do not only sell full-blown bikes in our new store, but we also give customers the opportunity to try on Gore Bike Wear or Shimano shoes or try out the parts, we've got in stock. And if this still isn't enough for you, you may choose from our product range that contains of more than 30,000 articles, and easily pick up your order from the store - without wasting time in the waiting queue.
