The 3min19sec bottom bracket tool adapter helps to mount and dismount Hollowtech II SM-BBR60 and BB-MT800 bottom brackets. Once it has been mounted on the bearing cup, it can be driven with a compatible bottom bracket key, e.g. with our bottom bracket tool for Shimano Hollowtech II. This adapter tool was manufactured from plastic with fibreglass reinforcement.

Tut genau das, was es soll. Ich bin bei der Montage meines SM-BBR60 einmal abgerutscht, der Adapter hat aber bis auf einige Kratzer gehalten. Für den gelegentlichen Gebrauch also völlig ausreichend.

Taugt nix, nach 2 Lagerwechsel sind die Zähne abgeschliffen und greifen nicht mehr. Kunststoff halt. Nicht kaufen!

Ich habe nicht viel Kraftaufwand gebraucht um die Zähne auszunuddeln.
Ich verstehe nicht ganz, warum Shimano diese Zwischengröße bei dem betreffenden Lagern auf den Markt bringt?
Wer mit Gefühl und einem guten Tretlagerschlüssel arbeitet, der kann dieses Teil sicher auch mehrfach nutzen

Habs zum BR-M800 montieren gekauft, weil ich übersehen habe dass dort schon eines beiliegt. Allerdings passt der originale Shimanoadapter nicht in meinen Topeak Innenlagerschlüssel (1/100 mm zu groß...), also behalt ich diesen auch. Keine Sorge wegen "Plastik" - beide sind aus hochwertigem Kunststoff und schützen das schwarze Innenlager vor Kratzern. Nach 4 Lagern keine Gebrauchsspuren am Kunststoff.
