The MTB Bandit saddle mount by Specialized - only for saddles with SWAT

The Specialized MTB Bandit is a special saddle mount designed to carry a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, valve head and tyre lever. However, the mount must be attached to the SWAT™ threads on the underside of Specialized saddles and is therefore not compatible with other saddles. A Velcro fastener secures it, but can also be opened quickly if necessary. Using the MTB Bandit, you can give your bike a minimalist look without having to sacrifice the most important helpers in case of a puncture on the road.

SWAT is the acronym for " Storage, Water, Air, Tools" and describes a whole range of solutions that Specialized offers for space-saving accessories. There are SWAT elements that are built into Specialized frames from the get-go, such as the opening below the bottle cage on certain mountain and gravel bikes.
