Bart Schouten, founder of C-BEAR and passionate cyclist, was searching for high-quality bearings with less friction and increased durability all at an affordable price. The ceramic bearings from the Belgian brand unite all these characteristics. KISS (Keep it simple and straight-forward) is the principle used to design these bearings. Unnecessary spacers, washers and wave washers are not used here. Squeaks, crunches and bearing play are also not an issue. C-BEAR offers two types of ceramic bearings. The Race bearings have the lowest amount of friction and are made for dry street conditions. Cyclocross and MTB bottom brackets are designed for wet conditions and unpaved trails with special greases and seals.
