The Tundra saddle range is made for racing and cross-country.
The saddles have a relatively long, flat and narrow shape, which enables very good power transfer as well as support, and offers additional flexibility of movement. Thanks to Fizik's selection of lightweight materials and the specialised processes in hand manufacturing, very light saddles can be produced. The Tundra M3 K:ium has a strong, lightweight composite carbon co-injected nylon shell, Wing Flex technology for more flexibility where the thighs touch the saddle - and alloy K:ium saddle rails that are lightweight and strong.

Fizik baut offensichtlich Sättel für mein Hinterteil. Egal ob MTB, Rennrad oder Gravelrad, stets super komfortabel - auch nach Stunden im Sattel - und preislich ebenfalls im Rahmen. Verarbeitung stimmt, d.h. auch nach Jahren noch wie neu.

Sättel zu bewerten ist schwierig! …was dem Einen passt ist dem Anderen eine Qual. Für mich ist der Sattel von der Passform her gut bis sehr gut.
Verarbeitung und Material machen auf den ersten Blick einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Der Sattel ist schnell und ohne Probleme zu montieren, spricht für die Einhaltung der hier gängigen maßlichen Standards.

Was mich allerdings nach mittlerweile mehrwöchigem Einsatz tatsächlich nervt ist, dass der Sattel im hinteren Teil der Sitzfläche mit einem Gewebematerial verarbeitet wurde, was sehr schwer bis unmöglich sauber zu halten ist.

Der Sattel wird als MTB Sattel beworben, da muss dann auch mal mit entsprechendem Schlammbeschuss gerechnet werden und auch damit, dass der Fahrer des Öfteren aus dem Sattel geht. …..dass der Sattel dabei dreckig wird liegt in der Natur der Dinge und ist auch nicht weiter tragisch, wenn er sich danach leicht und einfach wieder reinigen lässt.

Genau dies aber ist für den genannten hinteren Teil der Sattelfläche nicht der Fall !
Mir erschließt sich auch nicht worin der Vorteil des Materialwechsels auf der Sitzfläche liegen soll. Wenn das nur dem Design geschuldet ist, so macht das für mich in diesem Fall keinen Sinn.
