The little helper with a huge impact: the Original mudguard by MarshGuard
Jason Marsh, the creator of MarshGuards, is Greg Minnaar, the UCI Mountain Bike Downhill 2012 World Champion’s, mechanic. Because of Marsh’s own Downhill career and experience as a mechanic, he was always looking for a better solution to neoprene mudguards. Since the MarshGuard’s introduction to the market, it has become the favorite among racers, magazines, and mountain bikers who love riding in the mud but enjoy a clear view. For maximum protection, combine the MarshGuard with the Stash.
The MarshGuard is a flexible mudguard that catches the mud that flies between the fork bridge and the casting bridge. It helps keep the mud and other dirt out of your face so you have a clearer view on those rides that get going quick. Compared to other mudguards the MarshGuard is very light with its 31 g. However, this isn’t to say it isn’t robust as well as aerodynamic.
It can be used on forks and rear triangles alike making the Marshguard practical as a complete mudguard set. Another reason to consider buying one is the protection of seals and fork stanchions keeping your fork in the best possible condition.
- catches the mud that usually lands in your face
- weighs only 31 g.
- fits 99% of suspension forks
- front wheel still visible
- aerodynamic form
- also made for rear triangles to keep mud out of your rear shock and drivetrain.
