Clever cabling helper: the coax plug by SON

SON has developed robust, two-pin coaxial plugs with a minimal size for disconnecting coaxial cables. They can also be used on twin cables. The processing is done by soldering and using heat shrink tubing.
A short cable with a 4.8 mm flat plug and coaxial socket, which remains on the dynamo when the wheel is removed, allows very convenient plugging in and out during installation and removal. A separation point in the rear light cable facilitates the removal of components and is necessary for frames which can be taken apart. Additionally, when operating several devices (light/charger), a quick plugging/unplugging option is often helpful.
