SRAM chain manufacturers have developed PowerLock™ as a tool-free, safe and consistent way to connect SRAM 10 and 11-speed chains. Although PowerLock™ does not require any special tools for assembly, given the narrow tolerance range of a 10-/11-speed drive, each PowerLock™ should only be used once.

PowerdomeX:
Made from heat-treated, high-quality tool steel, this hollow construction features CNC-machined sprockets and rear openings for lighter weight and added rigidity. It is SRAM's stiffest and lightest cassette.

X-Glide™:
X-Glide technology guarantees smooth gear changes at all times and in all conditions. The developers at SRAM/Truvativ have developed a new chainring and sprocket geometry that enables perfect interaction with the chain.
