Shimano Deore 10-speed Chainring for FC-M590-10 Crank

The Shimano 10-speed chainring for the Deore FC-M590-10 crank ensures super-smooth shifting even under load (SG-X technology). In the 24-tooth version it is made of steel, the 42-tooth version is made of aluminium. The chainrings can be combined to a gradation of 24-32-42 and fit seamlessly into the interaction of the front drivetrain components (HyperDrive concept).

The 32 tooth chainring (Y-1LV98080) is identical to FC-M660-10 chainring (version B with chainring bolts).

Note to Type Designation:

The type designation (one or two characters) helps identify the compatibility of various chainrings with other chainrings. Because the larger chainrings have specially-formed teeth and upward shifting assistance, only particular smaller chainrings will match to ensure proper shifting performance. An XY chainring should only be combined with another XY chainring. This applies to all other types as well.
