This Shimano XT FD-T8000 front derailleur is compatible with a chainstay angle from 66° to 69°, which is typical for Mountain bikes or Road bikes. Nevertheless, as a 3x front derailleur for 10-speed drivetrains, it was designed entirely for City & Touring use - in the form of particularly robust performance, easy operation and reliable shifting operations. The FD-T8000 is fastened with a clamp that is mounted underneath the cage; the cable can be guided from above or below (dual-pull).
