The Shimano PD-T421 Click'R pedals impress with a much easier entry and exit function compared to conventional SPD pedals. It is a hybrid construction with a binding on one side while the other side can be used like a platform pedal. For additional safety, the PD-T421 already has integrated reflectors.

The Click'R series from Shimano consists of the CT (Country Touring) shoes and matching hybrid pedals with easy exit function. It combines the safety of a clipless system with the advantages of platform pedals and the comfort of road shoes. Click'R shoes have a more flexible sole than conventional Shimano cycling shoes. On the other hand, both the step-in and step-out force of Click'R pedals are 60% lower, so that clipping in and out is easy despite the lower leverage of the sole.
