Tesaband® 4688 is a PE-extruded standard fabric tape. It consists of a 55 mesh PET/cellulose weave and a natural rubber adhesive. It is a standard repair tape which can be used in a wide range of applications and has very good working properties.

Kommt ganz auf den Anwendungsbereich an. Ich habe es zum einen zum Abkleben von Pedalachsverlängerungen genutzt (schwarzes Bike, schwarze Pedale, silberne Verlängerungen), da hat es sich recht schnell wieder am Ende des Streifens gelöst. Ebenso beim Abschluss des Lenkerbandes. Das Klebeband behält aber insgesamt seine Klebekraft und löst sich nicht direkt vollständig ab.

Es stimmt, dass sich die Bänder je nach Einsatzzweck unterscheiden. Für die beiden genannten Zwecke ist wahrscheinlich ein flexibleres Isolierband günstiger:
