The 3min19sec E-bike Lockring Tool for Shimano STEPS Motors

With the help of this lockring tool from 3min19sec you can attach the chainring to the motor unit of e-bikes with Shimano EP8, STEPS E8000, E6100 and E7000 drivetrains. All you need in addition is a Hollowtech II bottom bracket wrench. The tool is made of robust steel and can of course also be used to loosen the lockring.

Product update:
The 3min19sec e-bike lockring key has been updated to improve compatibility. The outer diameter was reduced for this purpose. A chamfer has also been integrated on the side facing the lockring. The tool holder for the lockring is now deeper so that the toothing grips the lockring better.

Hat bei meinem Miranda Spider auf Shimano EP8 gepasst.
Hatte zuerst Bedenken wegen der schlechten Bewertungen aber das erwähnte Update hat wohl Abhilfe geschaffen ;-)

Outil tout métal d'apparence solide mais... ne convient pas pour démonter le plateau Shimano VTTAE (Neuron on 9) moteur EP8 le diamètre est de 56 mm pour un diamètre requis de 53 mm environ.

Auch bei mir hat das Werkzeug leider nicht auf den Lockring gepasst, da das Kettenblatt im Weg ist.

leider ist der Außenring zu dick, passte bei mir nicht über den Lock-Ring; mit (doppelt so teurem) Shimano-Originalteil hat es dann funktioniert
