The Aimy steerer tube clamp by BikeYoke is an 8 mm high stem spacer with two useful functions: Because it clamps, the steerer tube and headset stay in place when you dismantle the stem and handlebars. This facilitates handling in the workshop. It also serves as an alignment aid if your stem has been twisted in a fall and you find it difficult to align it precisely while on the road. The prerequisite for this is that you have aligned the clamping slot of the stem and that of the clamp during assembly.
