Note from the manufacturer:

Challenge tyres should not be mounted on wheels that do not meet ETRTO and ISO standards. Non-compliant wheels could cut through the sidewall above the bead, causing the tyre to burst and possibly injuring the rider.

Technology:

Handmade Tubeless Ready
Handmade TLR tyres are made from the same materials and using the same processes as Challenge's handmade tubular tyres, except that no inner tube is incorporated. The carcass is wrapped around an aramid bead so that the tyre can be mounted on a clincher rim. Handmade tubeless ready tyres impress with their flat shape, which allows for a natural deformation of the carcass on uneven ground and a lower rolling resistance. A tubeless set-up with sealant maintains the signature suppleness of handmade Challenge tyres.

Sealed Corespun Cotton
The sidewall containing cotton is protected by a waterproof coating that extends from bead to bead. This makes the sidewall light, soft and supple, the tyres last longer and also look good for longer.

PPS Ganzo
The Puncture Protection System (PPS) Ganzo is a tyre insert strip made of flexible, tightly woven multi-component fabric, which is used between the tread and the carcass of the tyre.
