DT Swiss Anti Pedal Kickback Conversion Kit DEG DF 90-tooth gearing
Product Description
DT Swiss Ratchet DEG DF Upgrade Kit 90T without tool – anti-pedal-kickback system for MTB
The DT Swiss Ratchet DEG DF Upgrade Kit 90T allows you to upgrade your existing DT Swiss Ratchet DEG hub with innovative Degrees of Freedom (DF) technology. The system is designed to reduce pedal kickback on full-suspension mountain bikes, helping to deliver smoother suspension performance on demanding trails.
As the rear suspension compresses, chain tension can transfer forces to the pedals and interfere with suspension movement. DF technology introduces additional freedom of movement within the freehub system, helping to reduce these effects. With settings of 0°, 10° or 20° Degrees of Freedom, the system can be tuned to suit your riding style and your bike's suspension kinematics.
The upgrade kit is compatible with DT Swiss Ratchet DEG freehub systems featuring 72 or 90 teeth. Conversion requires replacing the threaded ring and ratchets. Its compact, integrated construction offers a weight-efficient alternative to external anti-pedal-kickback solutions.
This version is supplied without installation tools and is intended for riders or workshops that already have the required special tools.
