DT Swiss G 1800 CLASSIC 20 mm wheel – robust gravel wheel for road, gravel and bikepacking
The DT Swiss G 1800 CLASSIC 20 mm wheel is developed for versatile use across road, gravel and bikepacking. Whether you are heading out for a long road ride, a winding gravel route or a multi-day adventure with luggage, the stable aluminium rim, reliable DT Swiss 370 hub and Ratchet LN 36 SL freehub system on the rear wheel provide dependable performance on changing terrain.
With a 26 mm internal width and 30 mm external width, the rim offers a modern platform for wider tyres and increased comfort on rough surfaces. The Hooked / Crotchet Tubeless TC rim bed enables tubeless use while keeping tyre choice versatile. The 20 mm rim height ensures controlled handling and fits well with gravel, all-road and bikepacking setups.
The classic build with DT competition J-Bend spokes, three-cross spoke pattern, 28 spokes and DT Pro Lock Squorx ProHead brass nipples is designed for durability and easy maintenance. Depending on the version, the wheel is available as a front wheel with a 12 x 100 mm axle system or as a rear wheel with a 12 x 142 mm axle system and SRAM XDR Road, Shimano Road 11-speed or Shimano Micro Spline Road 12-speed freehub body.
