The DT Squorx Pro Head® nipple combines ease of assembly and a light weight thanks to the DT Pro Head® shape combined with an additional torx and square tool holder. The Torx drive provides more contact surface when building wheels, which means that the torque transmitted from the tool to the nipple is better distributed. The spherical contact area in the rim guarantees perfect alignment with the spoke.
In the Pro Lock® process, a patented two-component adhesive fluid is injected into the nipple thread, resulting in an extremely durable wheel design. By screwing the nipple onto the spoke, the adhesive is activated and begins to harden. With Pro Lock®, the wheel can be re-tightened at any time with only a slight reduction in the screw-locking function.
