This deep groove ball bearing from Enduro Bearings has an inner diameter of 17 mm, an outer diameter of 28 mm and a width of 9 mm. This is a double-row MAX bearing, which is characterised by a 35 to 40 % higher load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. For over 20 years, Enduro Bearings has been manufacturing MAX bearings specifically for use on mountain bike shocks. As the name indicates, they are fitted with the maximum possible number of balls. The grooves in the races are deeper to accommodate the multiple lateral turning forces at the MTB rear pivot.
