The proven 3DF foam is already integrated in the protector shorts, which is why they offer reliable protection for thighs and hips. The coccyx is protected by an additional pad that can be removed. The pre-shaped 3D design, the flat seams and the quick-drying fabric ensure superior comfort.

3DF AirFit:
The 3DF AirFit is an impact foam that has a soft and flexible fit and immediately hardens into energy-absorbing protection upon impact. This protector technology adapts to many body shapes and is CE-approved for the highest levels in the chest area and for the back.
The original 3DF foam has a solid single layer structure that provides good impact absorption but limits flexing in the garment. That's why Leatt uses 3DF Airfit foam in several layers, while leaving enough space between the layers to maintain mobility and flexibility. This provides the rider with the greatest possible comfort while maintaining impact absorption.

These shorts are very comfortable and fit perfectly under my Troy Lee Ruckus shorts.
The size chart is very accurate, I'm a 34 inch and the large is a great fit. I plan to never test the armour, it sits in the correct places and easy to pedal not restrictive

Great fit and the protection is working.
I have to adjust the shorts now and then troughout the day , to make sure the hip-bone protection is on the right place. But no big deal.
I have only used them for skiing so far, however these shorts seems better than my previous protection shorts, which were totally OK for mtb.
One star removed due to high price.
