Nitto is pure cult status for riders who build their bike with intention. Not more and more, but exactly what fits. The specialist from Tokyo has been making metal components since 1923 and is known for beautifully finished handlebars, stems, seatposts, racks and small, well thought out details. The result is that unmistakable Nitto feel: light enough for sporty bikes, strong enough for everyday riding, travel and long brevets. The finish never shouts, it simply looks right. That is why you see Nitto on track bikes just as often as on randonneurs, touring bikes or classic city bikes where comfort and control matter. Nitto’s Keirin certification in Japan is more than tradition, it stands for strict standards and Nitto quality.

More about Nitto

Nitto is one of the most established names in Japanese bicycle component making. The company K K Nitto was founded in Tokyo in 1923. From the early days, it built a reputation as a specialist in metal tube processing and welding, a focus that still shapes its products today.

Over the decades, Nitto became especially known for precisely made handlebars and stems, later adding seatposts, racks, bottle cages and other accessories. The headquarters are now in Kawaguchi in Saitama Prefecture, with production including facilities in Fukushima.

Nitto is closely linked to Japanese Keirin track racing. Many components carry NJS certification, and Nitto was among the early suppliers in that scene. Since NJS has been a strict rule set for materials and dimensions in Keirin since 1957, this approval is still seen as a clear mark of quality. To this day, Nitto stands for classic shapes, precise workmanship and parts you will not forget after one season.
