The centre lugs are low and wide for best rolling characteristics, the raised side lugs provide the necessary grip in curves. The Scorpion XC tyres are equipped with the SmartGRIP compound and the ProWALL carcass.

The Single Compound SmartGRIP combines two properties that are often contradictory in the off-road sector: mechanical strength and chemical grip. This means that grip and handling are outstanding on both dry and wet surfaces. By using a single compound, Pirelli avoids performance degradation with increasing wear.

ProWALL
A layer of nylon fabric protects the sidewalls and improves cornering stability, especially at low air pressure.
