The Shimano dummy plug for Dura-Ace ST-R9150, Ultegra ST-R8050 and Alfine ST-S705 is a dummy plug, which is compatible with numerous other, also older Di2 switch/brake levers as well as with information displays. It can also be used on STEPS motor units. The dummy plug is used to seal unused electrical connections.
