The Shimano Dura-Ace PD-R9100E1 pedals have a 4 mm longer axle than the PD-R9100 and thus create a greater distance to the crank. In terms of weight and stiffness, they are in no way inferior to the sister model thanks to the carbon body. The SPD-SL clip-in mechanism can be combined with different cleats to vary freedom of movement.
