Shimano stop-ring for post mount - securing the brake caliper bolt


The Shimano stop-ring for post mount is a snap ring that prevents the upper bolt of the brake caliper from loosening. It is used on most Shimano post mount brakes, but not on XTR and the latest XT, SLX and Alfine models.
