The interactive Neo 2T Smart trainer with direct drive from Tacx scores particularly well with its downhill simulation as well as during climbs and sprints. It features realistic simulations such as road feel, dynamic inertia and improved pedal analysis. The power measurement is enormously accurate and deviates by less than 1%. You are completely free to choose your training app, as the trainer is fully compatible. The use of your hardware is also flexible, because the roller trainer can be used with almost all rear wheel axles. As far as noise is concerned, Tacx has made enormous improvements on this front. Both air exchange and vibration noise are reduced to such an extent that you exercise almost silently. This makes it perfectly suited for use in apartments, as you won't have to worry about excess noise disturbing the neighbours. In addition, the engine has been equipped with significantly more power. This allows you to train with higher resistance and simulate special situations like sprints in a natural way. Furthermore, no calibration is necessary before training.
The Tacx Motion Plates set for the front wheel and trainer addresses the natural cycling movement even more and reduces vibrations by converting them into the natural sideways movement of the bike. This means that you tire out more slowly and can increase your training volume.
