The 1695MB1 pedal thread repair set from Unior Bike Tools offers you the most important tools and small parts for repairing damaged or stripped crank pedal threads. It includes one tap for left-side threads and one for right-side threads, which you can use to ream new 5/8" x 24 tpi threads in the crank arm. Thanks to the included handle, this can be done very comfortably. Then just screw one of the threaded inserts from the set into the new thread. The inserts have an inner dimension of 9/16" x 20 tpi, giving you a new mounting option for your pedal. The set comes in a practical metal box with foam padding.
