The e*thirteen Sidekick Pro Hubs represent the next evolution in modern MTB hub technology. With their advanced anti-kickback technology, they provide significantly improved suspension performance, more traction, and a particularly smooth ride – even on the most challenging terrain. Through consistent development, weight and friction have been further reduced, making these hubs the fastest in their class.
Thanks to the innovative Sidekick 2.0 freehub mechanism with magnetic pawl system, the drive is completely disengaged when coasting. This minimises pedal kickback and reduces resistance by up to 30%, resulting in noticeably more speed (‘free speed’). At the same time, the adjustable deadband allows perfect adaptation to different track profiles – without any tools.
