SRAM PM600 Military Grease

Ausreichend große Packung, verwende es hauptsächlich zum regelmäßigen Schmieren der Steckachsen und Steuersatz.
Vor allem bei den Steckachsen bin ich von der Haltbarkeit positiv überzeugt.

Excellent lubricant for many rubber seal assemblies. Suitable for everything where it is necessary to provide moisture protection and a slippery film on the surface. Please note that the grease is very sticky (if applied to a degreased surface) and therefore can create additional resistance in the friction points.

Ein Fett für alles, von Steuersatz bis Luftkammer. Klebt und muss ggfs. in ein anderes Gefäß umgefüllt werden. Viskosität scheint sich bei Kälte nicht sehr zu verändern.
Durch die vielseitige Anwendung ist die Menge ok.

Sehr gutes Fett - nur die Verpackung ist sehr unpraktisch: Nicht wiederverschließbar. Man muß es "umfüllen" in ein anderes Gefäß.

I haven't used any other grease for forks, but after applying it on the coil and seals, it made the suspension smooth as new.
For home use it will last many,many years (keep in mind that it says that it has a shelf life of two years).

I use this grease for professional forx servicice "bicycles, motorcycles and motocross bikes" for many years. PM600 is professional quality level grease. Excellent for O-rings, and can be used for dust end oil seals. Recommendation.

Great stuff, but only not for rolling peices

Sehr gutes Fett, schmiert wie die Hölle und bleibt dabei noch ganz gut haften.
Den kleinen Dämpferservice könnte man glatt ohne zusätzliches Öl machen.
Leider ist die große Öffnung und die riesen Menge unpraktisch.

Das Zeug ist echt spitze! Habe es erst für den Service von Federgabeln besorgt und verwende es jetzt für alle möglichen Sachen. Gut auch, dass der Hersteller dem Zeug KEINEN Erdbeergeruch gegeben hat, sonst würde man noch in Versuchung kommen...
Alternativ eine kleinere Tube wäre super, weil die Menge braucht selbst eine erwachsene Werkstatt nicht in 5 Jahren.

Extrem lange am Bike haltbar

Absolut geniales Zeug, nicht nur zum Service für die Federgabel. Ich habe versuchsweise einen Sperrklinkenfreilauf mit dem Fett behandelt, der Ergebnis ist der Hammer. Er ist jetzt nahezu lautlos und total leichtgängig. Inzwischen verwende ich es überall wo es was zu schmieren gibt.

Beim Gabel Service sorgt es für sensibles ansprechverhalten. Haftet extrem. Werde es in Zukunft für alle Lauerstellen verwenden. Der Preis für die menge ist okay.

great product, this grease is (much) better than the white lithium grease (it's also much more expensive). I use it in the fork dust seal and where there is more friction (ex. absorber bushings).


ottimo prodotto, questo grasso è (molto) migliore del grasso bianco lithio (è anche molto più costoso). lo uso nei raschiapolvere forcella e dove c'è più attrito (ex. boccole ammortizzatore).

I used this on my Rockshox Boxxer fork.

I had previously a normal spring inside but those spring protection thingies were sliding up after a week and then the ticking started. So I had to open the left leg of the fork and slide them back. So I realized that this grease dissolves in oil, as expected.

Now installed a air conversion kit from Protone Components and used the same grease on the seals and o-rings. After a month or so, seems that the grease has dissolved and now the fork does not work butter smooth as before it started to hang a bit. I will have to open it again to check what exactly is wrong.

Anyway I also used this on all the doors in my apartment. No more noise :)
