Blackheart founder Zach Lambert moved from BMX racing to mountain biking in the '90s and a bit later eventually to road and gravel bikes.
With a boutique in Venice, California, and the headquarters in Truckee, CA, not far from Lake Tahoe, Blackheart Bike Co. set out to create maximally beautiful, straightforward high-quality, and perfectly balanced drop bar bikes for purists made of titanium and aluminum. The brand covers a wide range between World-Tour racing machines, endurance geometry, and performance gravel bike: all equally beautiful, fully integrated and minimalist, durable, and lightning-fast!
Road
Eye Candy meets uncompromising Performance Geometry: With the simply named "Road" series, Blackheart Bike Co. delivers World-Tour level road bikes for riders who want to counter the mainstream modern carbon racers with the timeless durability and sustainability of titanium or aluminum. Thus, it's not surprising that the Blackheart Road Ti was named “Roadbike of the year” at Cyclingworld.
Allroad
The Blackheart Allroad models, with their moderate endurance geometry, cater to a broad audience, to riders who want to combine the classic-modern look with a more relaxed fit. A stack-to-reach ratio around 1.5 promises versatility as well as 40 mm tire clearance, which could easily turn the Blackheart Allroad into a gravel bike.
Gravel
The bike for that extra bit of offroad fun is the "Gravel". Here, the minimalist, fully integrated Blackheart design language meets the variety of eight frame sizes, and nine (!) possible frame sizes in titanium. 47 mm tire clearance invites rides in wild terrain, and the one-piece Aero Carbon cockpit leaves no doubt about the race potential of this Californian gravel speedster.
