The PR 1600 SPLINE from DT Swiss is a 28" wheelset for performance road bikes with disc brakes. The slightly raised 32 mm rims and the Aero-Comp bladed spokes reduce wind resistance. This also makes you faster going uphill. This set is a good choice for both competition and training bikes. The glued Pro-Lock nipple threads increase the wheels' stability. To top it off, the 350 straight-pull hubs can also withstand high loads. The rear hub is equipped with a low-maintenance, durable ratchet toothed freehub.

Pro Lock:
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.

Ratchet System:
The robust and reliable star ratchets freehub system can be maintained easily and quickly. The no-tool concept contributes to this, because it allows disassembly without any tools. The freehub has two ratchets which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which relieves the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.
