Aerodynamics have been closely associated with Giro since Greg Lemond's legendary narrow victory in the 1989 Tour de France. The fact that aerodynamics nowadays can be chic and safe is demonstrated impressively by Giro’s road bike helmets.

Giro Synchwire
Synchwire is what Giro calls the technology they used to create particularly lightweight, well-ventilated and yet extremely stable shoes for road cyclists. The basis for this is a monofilament composite, which holds together the three layers of the shoe’s upper and delivers a near-seamless construction. As a result, the shoe adapts perfectly to the rider's foot, without pressure points or uncomfortable rubbing seams.
