LEVELNINE – top quality at fair prices
We at bike-components are always on the lookout for new, exciting products that enhance cycling and inspire us. In 2018, we discovered LEVELNINE, the in-house brand of PMG, one of the world’s largest component manufacturers. We were able to visit PMG in Taiwan and see the production conditions and quality standards for ourselves – and were impressed by the expertise and professionalism we encountered. Since then, all new LEVELNINE parts have been available exclusively in our shop, and we have built an increasingly close partnership with the brand.
LEVELNINE produces and distributes high-quality handlebars, stems and seatposts made from carbon and aluminium for mountain bikes and road bikes. The brand benefits from years of experience in manufacturing for the global cycling industry, as LEVELNINE is the in-house brand of PMG (Precision Manufacturing Group), one of the world’s largest bicycle component manufacturers. LEVELNINE products represent the essence and culmination of all the expertise PMG has gained through long-term collaborations with a wide range of clients. Production takes place at two facilities in Taiwan and China.
All products are repeatedly tested throughout the entire development and production process in the company’s own testing laboratories. We were able to visit these high production and testing standards in Taiwan and convince ourselves of the quality of the materials and working conditions. One thing became clear very quickly during this visit: PMG manufactures and tests at the highest level, and its production processes are state of the art.
Insight into the LEVELNINE testing laboratory
Back in Germany, we also had LEVELNINE handlebars tested by the Zedler Institute for Bicycle Technology and Safety. The result: all tested products passed with flying colours, and all Pro Team MTB handlebars even received approval for use on e-bikes.
Since our visit to LEVELNINE in Taiwan in 2018, our partnership has steadily grown. Our direct connection with the manufacturer allows us to easily pass on both our own feedback and that of our customers, enabling us to actively contribute to the improvement and further development of the components.
