The Mavic Cosmic S 42 is a dynamic, reliable carbon wheelset for entering the world of road cycling. Its lightweight, disc brake-optimized rims are 42 mm high and designed for low wind resistance and high lateral stability at high speeds. This allows you to accelerate instantly, climb faster, and control descents. Thanks to a 21 mm inner width, tire widths up to 32 mm are possible, with the tubeless option further enhancing comfort and rolling efficiency. At the heart of the Cosmic S 42 are high-quality, center lock hubs for thru-axles. The rear uses the proven ID360 freehub technology. The wheels are laced with 24 J-Bend spokes at the front and rear, which are flat-shaped contributing to aerodynamics.
