The Mavic Deemax DH 29" wheelset for demanding downhill racing
The Deemax DH from Mavic is an indestructible downhill wheelset in 29" with Boost width at the front and DH width at the rear. It has 30 mm wide aluminium rims with special surface protection that can withstand the heaviest impacts. Self-adjusting 6-bolt hubs with high-quality bearings rotate in the centre. Thanks to the powerful ID360 freehub, you can pedal with high efficiency. The 28 J-Bend spokes on the front and rear wheels can be easily changed and offer an optimum balance of strength and agility. The Deemax DH was even put through its paces in the World Cup.

SUP
SUP means Soudé Usiné Process and creates a much more stable and smoother rim joint. The rim joint is welded and then milled over to achieve an even braking surface. SUP prevents any brake judder and facilitates spoking and centring of the wheel.
QRM Auto
QRM Auto stands for Qualité de Roulements Mavic Auto, and is the latest bearing innovation from Mavic. These cartridge bearings with C3 internal clearance are double sealed. Their bearing clearance is automatically adjusted to guarantee smooth running without any play at all times.
Instant Drive 360
The Instant Drive 360 freehub system is super light and ensures a fast power connection with an engagement angle of only 9° (road) or 15° (MTB). A large, non-contact rubber seal reduces friction.
