Narrow and very light training tyre: the Detonator by Maxxis

The Detonator is the ideal MTB road tyre for asphalt or training rollers, or simply for tours in the city. It was developed for an air pressure of up to 6.8 bar for extremely low rolling resistance and real racing-feeling on the bike.

Das beste was man noch einem 26" MTB kaufen kann. Das Reifen toleriert gerne auch offroad bis zu einem schweren MTB-Einsatz (grosse Steine) wo über 4 Bar ungerne gesehen sind. Sonst perfekt für Asphalt, Schotter, Wald und einfaches MTB-Einsatz. Langlebig und plattfussfest, schnell und sehr leicht. Maxxis, der 26"-Retter.

Habe den 26" 1,5 für meinen Tourenmix gekauft (90% Asphalt, 10% Split, Kies) und bin damit sehr zufrieden - keine platten Schläuche mehr. Trotz dem hohen Druck von 5,5 abseits Asphalt noch sehr gut zu fahren.

Habe den 1.25" schon seit Jahren auf meinem 92' Stumpjumper. Genialer Reifen mit gutem Grip, auch auf nicht asphaltierten Strecken! Bin damit schon über sämtliche Wege gefahren, ohne das ich das Gefühl gehabt hätte, da geht nix mehr. Auf der Straße ist es ein echter Race-Reifen. Haltbar ist er zudem. Kann ich sehr empfehlen!

Sehr guter Reifen mit viel Grip und die faltbare Version ist relativ leicht und sehr einfach auf die Felge zu montieren (ohne Reifenheber). Kaufe ich gerne wieder.
