The Highroller II is the logical development of a legend, here in a 2-tyre set. It is more modern and aggressive, the open tread design digs deeper into the ground and yet the rolling resistance is lower. The self-cleaning is even better. The exact adjustment of the lug positions results in very predictable handling with seamless transitions when turning into corners and at the same time enormous grip. The braking traction also benefits from the new design.

Maxxis strongly advises against the use of ammonia-based sealant. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and can weaken it by up to 30% after only a few months, depending on the amount used.
At Maxxis, the 3C tread is moulded from 3 different rubber compounds in one piece and is not subsequently assembled from two strips. Therefore, the treads can be shaped exactly according to the requirements of the respective tyre model, thus optimising the riding characteristics.

Dual Ply Casing
In Maxxis Downhill tyres, two plies of fabric are combined and wrapped around the bead cores. The finished carcass then has four layers on the sidewalls and six layers under the tread.
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is reduced. Maxxis TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other " tubeless ready" tyres. The bead of the Maxxis TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tyre. As a result, tubeless mounting is successful for all rims with standard dimensions even during the first inflation and with little liquid.
