Outstanding mileage: the Pro 4 Endurance folding tyre from Michelin

The two-component tread of Michelin Pro 4 Endurance combines high mileage with excellent cornering grip thanks to two different rubber compounds. Available in grey, yellow or blue colourways, the rubber compound on the tyre's shoulder ensures high grip on wet roads, while the rubber compound in the centre of the tread offers protection against punctures. The combination of the 3x110 TPI carcass (TPI = threads per inch) and the anti-puncture ply, which extends from bead to bead, increases the resistance to punctures and thus also contributes to durability.

Features:

  • optimised tyre shoulder width for increased grip at lean angles
  • new 3x110 TPI carcass
  • for demanding road cyclists who are looking for the best possible compromise between puncture resistance, durability and weight
  • durability under all circumstances: highest mileage within the Pro 4 family
  • excellent protection against cuts and punctures
  • improved grip: up to 15% more grip than its predecessor Michelin Krylion
  • special two-component tread for maximum abrasion resistance combined with good grip in curves
  • exceptionally high puncture resistance and durability due to the combination of 3x 110 TPI carcass and puncture protection layer that extends from bead to bead

Technology:

HDProtection Bead2Bead
The HD Protection Bead2Bead technology consists of a cross-woven, high density (HD) protective ply that encases and protects the entire tyre carcass - tread centre and shoulders. As a result, the tread centre and shoulders are reinforced so that the tyre offers excellent puncture protection and durability.

Michelin Bi-Compound
Bi-compound technology is an innovative two-component rubber compound in one and the same tyre!
The rubber compound in the centre of the tread allows for very good torque transmission, acting as a " motor" when the rear wheel accelerates or as a " brake" when it slows down. These rubber compounds have been developed and optimized to ensure both high abrasion resistance and safe braking on wet surfaces.
The rubber compounds on the shoulders of the tyre allow very good performance and safe cornering thanks to excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces.
