DW-Link
On many Pivot full-suspension bikes, DW-Link is used - a licensed rear-suspension system developed by Dave Weagle. Instead of a single pivot, two short links work together and control the shock very precisely. The result: while pedaling, the suspension stays calm and efficient without noticeable bob - yet it responds sensitively to bumps and delivers loads of traction. Under braking, the rear wheel also stays more controlled on the ground, which adds confidence on technical trails. In short: DW-Link combines climbing drive with downhill control and grip - exactly what you expect from a high-end mountain bike.
