The anti-flat tube protector is made of a highly elastic and resistant special plastic that ideally complements any tyre casing. Foreign bodies that penetrate the sheath are intercepted by the cut- and puncture-resistant Anti-Platt tape. This prevents punctures from happening.

Letzte Woche hat sich bei mir so ein depperter Faltreifen final verabschiedet (Karkasse gebrochen mitten in der Laufflaeche, Antiplattband auf gut 1 cm² frei sichtbar) ...

Ohne das Antiplattband haette es einen Knall gegeben und ich haette den Rest der Tagesstrecke schieben muessen ...

Muss noch eines hinzufuegen: Ich habe gerade ein oranges Band in einem MTB-Reifen montiert, mir scheint das lang genug zu sein um auch fuer 50-622 zu reichen - also diese modischen Ballonreifen.
Moeglicherweise kann man die damit dann tatsaechlich mal fahren, dieser 'Big Apple' Reifen ist ja als Pannenprinz verschrieen ;)

Ansonsten saugut, man kann damit Reifen, die schon Risse in der Laufflaeche haben, weiter fahren bis sonstwann und richtig Geld sparen!
