Shimano square taper bottom bracket BB-UN300 - different axle lengths, for BSA bottom bracket

The BB-UN300 square taper bottom bracket was launched by Shimano as successor of the models BB-UN26 and BB-UN55. It covers a wide range of applications, from Touring and City bikes to older Road and Mountain bikes. BB-UN300 is available with BSA thread and in different axle lengths. In this type, the bottom bracket axle and crank are connected by a square taper. The delivery does not include crank bolts.

Das Lager habe ich heute eingebaut und die Kurbel dreht sich viel besser als bei meinen neusten Rennräder. Unglaublich für den Preis! Über die Langlebigkeit kann ich leider nichts sagen.

Nach etwas mehr als 12 Monaten hat die Achse starkes Spiel. Qualität scheint bei Shimano rückgängig zu sein. Würde empfehlen ein anderes Lager zu kaufen.

Nach 2500km und 7 Monaten bereits so viel Spiel, dass das Lager ersetzt werden muss.
Das Shimano Vorgängerlager hat 46000km gehalten.

Preis Leistung ist top, aber ich habe schon mehrere davon verschlissen, weil sie mit Regenwasser in Berührung gekommen sind. Aber da das auch die teuren nicht überleben,
ist dieses hier perfekt. Also am besten, den Regen zügig abtrocknen lassen und nachfetten.
