The Shimano Dura-Ace BR-R9210 Direct Mount Rim Brake with Brake Pads for Carbon

The BR-R9210 from Shimano's top road bike groupset Dura-Ace is also available with special brake pads for carbon rims. This is a double-joint rim brake for direct mount use, i.e. it must be mounted directly on the fork or on the seat stays. The model weighs about 25 grams less than the Ultegra version, which is mainly due to the cartridge brake shoe holders made of magnesium, which are of course angle-adjustable. In addition, the hardware is made of titanium. A direct mount favours the aerodynamics of the wheel and looks visually coherent, especially since the brake pleases with its slim design. Added to this are the efficient, precisely controllable braking power and the generous tyre clearance of up to 28 mm.
