The Roval Alpinist CL II Carbon Disc Centre Lock 28" wheelset from Specialized is designed for road, triathlon, and time trial applications, offering a perfect balance of lightweight carbon rims and durable components. Featuring a 33 mm rim height front and rear, these wheels provide excellent aerodynamics without compromising on agility. The hookless carbon rims with a 21 mm inner width and 27 mm outer width are tubeless ready, allowing you to run lower tire pressures for better grip and comfort. Both front and rear hubs use reliable DT Swiss 350 aluminum shells with steel bearings, ensuring smooth and consistent performance. The rear hub includes a 36T Star Ratchet freehub body made of aluminum for quick engagement and durability. Spokes are straightpull and conical, made from stainless steel with aluminum nipples, arranged in a 2:1 spoke pattern (21 front, 24 rear) for optimal strength and stiffness.
