The Roval Alpinist CLX II Carbon Disc Centre-Lock 28" wheelset from Specialized is designed for Road, Triathlon & Time Trial applications, offering a blend of lightweight carbon rims and reliable DT Swiss 180 hubs. This wheelset features a 2:1 spoke pattern with 21 spokes on the front and 24 on the rear, crafted from stainless steel with aluminum nipples for durability and precise tension. Both rims have a 33 mm height and a hookless flange design, optimized for tubeless-ready clincher or folding tires. The inner rim width is 21 mm, while the outer width measures 27 mm, providing a stable and responsive ride. Equipped with steel bearings in both front and rear hubs, the wheels ensure smooth rolling performance. The rear hub uses a Ratchet EXP 36 freehub body made from aluminum, enhancing engagement and power transfer. The disc brake system features a Centre Lock mount for easy and secure rotor installation.
