The Roval Alpinist CLX III Carbon Disc Centre Lock 28" wheelset from Specialized is designed specifically for road cycling, delivering a perfect blend of lightweight carbon rims and durable aluminum hubs. Featuring a 33 mm rim height front and rear, these wheels offer excellent aerodynamics without compromising on climbing efficiency. The tubeless-ready clincher tires ensure a smooth ride with reduced rolling resistance and improved puncture protection. Both front and rear hubs are equipped with ceramic bearings and aluminum shells, providing low friction and long-lasting performance. The spoke pattern is a 2:1 ratio with 21 spokes in the front and 24 in the rear, using carbon spokes and aluminum nipples for optimal strength and weight savings. The wheels come with a Ratchet EXP 36 freehub system for reliable and precise engagement. Designed for disc brakes, the wheels feature Center Lock rotors for easy installation and maintenance.
