The Tacx Neo Bike Plus trainer by Garmin is a smart bike for interactive indoor training with the feeling of riding outside. It is individually adjustable in stack and reach and even has five crank lengths from 165 to 175 mm. In addition, the shifters are programmable so that you can also use your favourite drivetrain on the trainer.
The road-feel simulation, which mimics different road surfaces through vibrations, makes your ride particularly realistic. When your indoor ride is going downhill, there is no need to pedal: Simply let it roll. When going uphill, the Tacx Neo Bike Plus simulates gradients of up to 25%. Fans integrated into the cockpit keep you cool during your workout. Just follow your training app on your smartphone or tablet, which is accommodated in the holder provided. To power it, simply plug it into one of the two USB charging sockets.
The icing on the cake of the Tacx Neo Bike Plus is that it's able to function without an external power source. Your activity generates enough power to use all available functions, with the exception of the downhill simulation. This means you can set up your smart bike far away from a power socket and still train to the full extent.

Downhill Simulation
The downhill simulation also creates a realistic riding experience in virtual training worlds. If your training software includes a downhill segment, you can let the bike roll as if you were riding outside.

Dynamic Inertia
Dynamic Inertia was developed to make the feeling of inertia as realistic as possible. In contrast to the mass inertia of a flywheel, Dynamic Inertia compensates for outside variables such as weight, speed and tilt angle. Altogether, this creates a highly-realistic riding experience.

No Power Supply Necessary
The trainer can be used without an external power source. The power generated during use is sufficient to operate the trainer. With the exception of the downhill simulation, all functions are available.

Road Feel
Want to experience the sensation of cobblestones beneath your tyres? " Road Feel" mode simulates various vibrations from a wide range of roads and surfaces.

Virtual Shifting
Cyclists require shifters and derailleurs that can react instantaneously. Luckily, this challenge was met while developing the virtual gear shift for the NEO, which offers the additional advantage of digital adjustment.
