BPA Free:
Bisphenol A (BPA) is a harmful plasticizer. According to the law, its use is only prohibited for children's products. VAUDE has decided against the use of BPA for all its products.

PVC Free:
The VAUDE seal PVC-free means that this product is manufactured completely without PVC (polyvinyl chloride). Looks like a truck tarpaulin, is just as durable and waterproof, but is made of PU (polyurethane) coated textile fabric instead of PVC. PVC often contains plasticizers (phthalates) that are suspected of being harmful to health.
