The bc basic bottom bracket tool for Shimano is the perfect tool for the demanding mechanic: a visual eye-catcher, with a CNC precision-machined aluminium body that ensures safe and simple assembly. The exact fit between the tool and the component prevents any marks or damage to the component being installed. The bottom bracket tool is compatible with various older Shimano bottom brackets, Campagnolo, FSA MegaExo, SRAM GXP, Race Face X-Type and other bottom brackets with external bearing cups. It has a convenient 1/2" drive and can be used with a matching ratchet or torque wrench.

Gut verarbeitetes Teil. Funktioniert aber bei den Campagnolo Lagerschalen nur suboptimal. Die rechte Lagerschale hat an der Außenseite einen hervor stehenden Bund. Dieser Bund steht an der Nuß an, da der Durchmesser hinter der Verzahnung enger wird. Dadurch greift die Nuß nur knapp. Abrutschen vorprogrammiert und unumgänglich (eigene Erfahrung, schmerzhaft für Hand und Rahmen). Habe die Nuß an der besagten Stelle auf der Drehmaschine ausgedreht und schon sitzt sie auch auf rechte Seite satt in der Tretagerschale.

Schöne Farbe. Die Nuss bietet in der Tiefe prinzipiell genügend Platz für Achs-Endkappen beim Anziehen von Centerlock-Verschlussringen (z.B. Shimano HB-20). Hierbei rutschte mir die Nuss aber mehrmals ab, weil die Nuss eine Fase hat und die Nuss nicht sonderlich tief in den Verschlussring greift.
Werde demnächst etwas Material von der Nuss entfernen.
Also: Bitte Fase reduzieren.
