The 28" Urban wheel from bc basic with P-22 disc rim and Shimano XT hub
The bc basic Heavy Duty 28" wheel for city and touring use is based on the P-22 aluminium rim, a new development by NEWMEN for bc. The P-22 is 22 mm wide and lives up to its name - P stands for "Performance" - with its durability and light weight. Tyre mounting without an inner tube is also possible. The centre of the wheel has a Shimano XT or 105 disc centre-lock hub for quick-release or thru-axle mounting, which ensures reliable function. Depending on the version, the rear wheel is equipped with a conventional MTB 11-speed freehub or a Micro Spline 12-speed freehub. The front wheel is also available with a hub dynamo from Shutter Precision, so that you can fit a lighting system that conforms to road traffic regulations. All versions are laced with round DT Factory spokes.
